The gospel according to a friend

And there came time on the last day of the week when the saints gathered in a house. There they stood together as holy saints under a tent where the heat from the sun above was oppressive.
Many were brought who were drunks and knew not the Christ. And they were brought in hope that they will meet the Jesus.
Percy who knew Jesus well said, Behold, Jesus, for the people are dying!
And Jesus said; Please Percy, stop talking about people, for though you speak of their change, you just like them. You speak of others all day.
Percy sat quietly, downcast at what truly was his constant talk of people, then he wondered, maybe he should speak more of Christ.
So not as downcast, but happy he said; Tell me Jesus, what do you feel like doing?
And Jesus said, See you not, Percy, that I am doing what I feel like doing?
And Percy knew Jesus had grown tired of Percy.
But Percy had a tendency of forgetting…
